Install Lyra on Android.
How to install a verified Lyra APK, choose a library folder, and complete the first-run setup.
Lyra supports Android 8.0 (API 26) and newer. Install only the signed APK linked from the published release record on this site.
Before you start
You need an Android device running API 26 or later and enough free storage for source audio and generated files. MIDI discovery and its audio check are local; a processing host is optional and cannot bypass that check.
Install and choose storage
- Download the verified APK from the Lyra release page.
- Open the file in Android’s package installer and review the requested install prompt.
- Launch Lyra. The first-run setup explains local-only use and asks you to choose a writable media folder.
- On Android, select the folder through the system document picker. Lyra stores the folder URI and checks it again when access may have expired.
- Finish setup and open the home screen. You can change the folder later in Settings.
Configure processing when needed
Downloading source audio and playing local files do not require a processing service. MIDI conversion runs locally when the source is 20 MB or smaller and no longer than four minutes. If you use an optional render bridge, open Settings → Separator Host, enter its HTTPS endpoint, and use the connection check.
Never install an unsigned build or an APK copied from an unverified mirror. SongHub leaves the download action disabled until release identity, size, and SHA-256 metadata are complete.
